How to maintain the commonly used parts of vertical machining centers?

The common component maintenance methods of vertical machining centers are as follows:

CNC system Daily inspection Regularly check whether the voltage value of each functional module of the CNC system is within a predetermined range, and check whether the connection of each electrical component is loose. If it is found to be loose, it should be fastened in time to prevent poor contact from causing failure.
Heat dissipation and cleaning Regularly clean the cooling and ventilation system of the CNC cabinet, check whether the cooling fan is operating normally, and whether the air duct filter is clogged. Generally, check every six months or every quarter to prevent the system temperature from being too high due to poor heat dissipation and affect performance.
Input /output device maintenance For old-fashioned CNC machine tools equipped with input/output devices such as photoelectric tape readers, they need to be maintained in accordance with regulations to prevent errors in reading information.
Battery replacement The rechargeable battery of the CMOS RAM memory device in the CNC system, even if it has not yet failed, should be replaced once a year, and it needs to be carried out in the power supply state of the CNC system to avoid the loss of information in the RAM during replacement.
Mechanical parts Main drive chain Regularly adjust the tightness of the spindle drive belt to prevent the phenomenon of lost rotation due to belt slippage; check the constant temperature fuel tank lubricated by the spindle to ensure sufficient oil volume and appropriate temperature range, and clean the filter in time; for the tool clamping device in the spindle, if there is a gap after long-term use, the displacement of the hydraulic cylinder piston needs to be adjusted in time to ensure reliable tool clamping.
Ball screw nut pair Regularly check the axial clearance of the screw thread pair to ensure the accuracy and axial stiffness of the reverse transmission through adjustment; check whether the connection between the screw and the bed is loose, and if it is loose, it needs to be tightened in time; check whether the screw protection device is damaged, and if it is damaged, it should be replaced in time to prevent dust or chips from entering the screw nut pair, affecting its accuracy and service life.
Tool magazine and tool change manipulator It is strictly forbidden to load overweight and long tools to avoid tool drop or collision accidents when changing tools; always check the zero return position of the tool magazine and the position of the tool change point of the machine tool spindle is correct, and adjust it in time; run the tool magazine and manipulator at startup time and space, check whether each stroke switch and solenoid valve can operate normally to ensure that the tool is locked and reliable on the manipulator.
Servo motor and spindle motor Operating condition monitoring Pay attention to the noise and temperature of the motor when it is running. If the noise is too large or the temperature rises excessively, it may be mechanical problems such as bearings or matching parameters with the amplifier. It needs to be investigated in time and corresponding measures should be taken to solve it.
Regular inspection Regularly check whether the coupling, transmission belt and other connecting parts of the motor are loose or worn, and if there is any problem, they should be replaced in time to ensure that the connection between the motor and other components is reliable and the power transmission is stable.
Component measurement feedback element Always check whether the connection of the encoder, grating and other detection components is loose, and whether it is contaminated by oil, dust or damaged at the end. If there is pollution, it needs to be cleaned in time, and if there is damage, it needs to be replaced to ensure the accuracy of the measurement feedback.

For impurities such as oxides in the contactor contacts, remove the contactor with a small file after removing it, and use cotton and alcohol to wipe it clean and reassemble the test.
Guide rail Lubrication For sliding rails, lubricating oil is used for lubrication; for rolling rails, lubricating oil or grease can be used.Pay attention to check whether the shunt valve in the automatic lubrication system is faulty, to ensure that the guide rail can be automatically lubricated, and at the same time check the oil volume of the guide rail lubricating oil tank every day, add it in time when it is insufficient, and also check whether the lubricating oil pump starts and stops regularly.
Protection Prevent chips, abrasive particles or cutting fluid from being scattered on the surface of the guide rail, pay attention to the daily inspection and maintenance of the guide rail protection device, and avoid increased wear, abrasions and corrosion of the guide rail.
Hydraulic and pneumatic system Regularly clean or replace the filters or sub-filters of each lubrication, hydraulic, and air pressure system; regularly conduct oil quality tests on the hydraulic system, and replace the hydraulic oil in time according to the oil quality; regularly discharge water from the water separator and air filter of the air pressure system to ensure the normal operation and service life of the system.
