1.Aluminum housings: such as electronic product housings, electrical appliance housings, etc.
2.Auto parts: such as aluminum wheels, engine parts, etc.
3.Aerospace parts: such as aircraft structural parts, satellite parts, etc.
4.Medical device parts: such as surgical instruments, medical device housings, etc.
5.Lighting accessories: such as lamp holders, lampshades, etc.
6.Communication equipment parts: such as mobile phone cases, router housings, etc.
7.Furniture accessories: such as handles, connectors, etc.
8.Sports equipment parts: such as bicycle parts, fitness equipment parts, etc.

Because aluminum is relatively soft, the following aspects need to be considered when processing aluminum on a CNC lathe:
I. CNC Lathe Machine Tool Selection
1). Tool material: Carbide tools are generally used. Coated tools can improve the wear resistance and cutting performance of tools, such as TiAlN coated tools.
2). Tool geometry: Use larger rake and back angles to reduce cutting force and cutting heat. The radius of the tool tip should not be too large to avoid built-up edge.
II. CNC Lathe Machine Cutting Parameters
1). Cutting speed: The cutting speed of aluminum can be higher, but too high a speed will cause increased tool wear. Generally speaking, the cutting speed can be selected between 100-500m/min.
2). Feed rate: Properly increasing the feed rate can improve processing efficiency, but too much feed rate will increase surface roughness. The feed rate is generally between 0.1-0.5mm/r.
3). Cutting depth: It should not be too large to avoid excessive cutting force and cutting heat. The general cutting depth is between 1-5mm.
III.CNC Lathe Machine Cooling and Lubrication
1). Cooling method: Due to the high thermal conductivity and fast heat dissipation of aluminum, air cooling or micro-lubrication can be used for cooling. Avoid using a large amount of water-soluble cutting fluid to avoid corrosion of aluminum.
2). Lubrication: Micro-lubrication can reduce tool wear and improve surface quality. Kerosene and other non-water-soluble cutting fluids can also be used for lubrication.
IV. CNC Lathe Machine Fixtures
1). Fixture design: Ensure that the clamping force of the workpiece is uniform to avoid deformation of the workpiece due to excessive clamping force. Soft claws, special fixtures, etc. can be used.
2). Positioning accuracy: Ensure accurate positioning of the workpiece to ensure processing accuracy. High-precision positioning pins, positioning blocks, etc. can be used.
Ⅴ. CNC Lathe Machine Safety
1). Protective devices: Ensure that the protective devices of the CNC lathe are intact to prevent chips from splashing and injuring people.
2). Operating specifications: Operators must strictly follow the operating procedures to avoid safety accidents.
CK6140 CNC flat lathe Machine is the most common model chosen by customers for processing aluminum:
CK6140 Aluminum CNC Lathe can accurately control the movement trajectory of the tool to ensure the accuracy of the processing size. For relatively soft materials such as aluminum, high-precision processing can meet the requirements of various precision parts.
